From the headland the shapes appear almost sculptural, massed together and settled into the sheltered curve of the bay. The water holds its colour even in shadow, deepening toward the outer rocks where the open coast begins beyond.

Within the protection of the cove the sea moves differently. Swell softens, sound lowers, and light gathers across the surface in steady bands of blue. Stone and water meet without urgency, weight set against brightness, the horizon held quietly beyond the shelter of the rocks.
