Coastal Sanctuary of Bundegi 1

$390.00

From the rise above Bundegi Sanctuary, the coastline lay wide beneath a hard, unbroken sky. Heat settled into the sand, and the air carried little more than salt and stillness. At low tide the sea had drawn back across the flats, exposing pale bars of sand and shallow pools that shimmered in the glare. The shoreline felt distant and unhurried, as though the day itself had slowed, leaving only the quiet breath of water moving along the edge.

Bundegi forms part of the Ningaloo Coast, where reef and shoreline shape calm, protected waters and broad tidal flats that define the rhythm of this remote stretch of coastline.

This artwork is executed in watercolour on loose canvas and is supplied unstretched and unframed. As this is a smaller work, stretching over wooden stretcher bars is possible but not recommended due to the limited blank edge allowance and potential image loss. For display, it may be mounted onto a rigid acid free board for a flat, contemporary finish, or presented within a floater frame for a subtle floating effect.

Painting size 417mm × 293mm
